Milk Harbour Holidays

By the sea, in the Sligo landscape, on the Wild Atlantic Way

Welcome to our website, and we hope that we can welcome you soon to our home in north Sligo. Our boutique bed and breakfast and retreat is  located on the Wild Atlantic Way https://www.wildatlanticway.com/ on the southern shores of  Donegal Bay with easy access to Sligo, Leitrim and South West Donegal, and is only an hour’s drive from Knock Airport.

We have four double en-suite bedrooms and  can host up to 8 guests for short stays of a minimum of two nights on a bed and breakfast basis. There are plenty of places for you to hideaway and relax or be more active! As well as your bedroom, you can make yourself at home in the guest sitting and dining room and a further guest sitting room, both of which overlook a harbour and have woodburning stoves.    If you want a more active holiday, you can go for walks along the shore, try your hand at table tennis in our boathouse or we can arrange for private yoga lessons  and other activities such as art classes in our studio which has stunning views across Donegal Bay and towards Mullaghmore. The bedrooms, house guest areas  and studio are also available for hire as a package to professional tutors wishing to run residential courses and retreats. To find out more about our accommodation and availability, please go to our accommodation page under the Visit Us tab. For more information on prices please go to our Bookings page again under the Visit Us tab.

Update:    February 2020
Following another successful yoga retreat hosted by Aoife Kane in January which focused on hibernation (lots of yoga, relaxing by our fires and sleeping, although we also witnessed a long and rainy walk by the shoreline !)  Aoife is planning more retreats in April, June, July, September  and next New Year. The dates for all events except September (which is still to be finalised) are in our calendar on the accommodation page.  Aoife is working on the themes for each retreat, but they are likely to be more active than January’s and to make the most of our coastal location. More details will be available on Aoife’s own website (https://www.aoifekane.com). Contact Aoife directly to make a booking.

Alternatively,  if you’re thinking of  a short romantic break for Valentine’s,  or want to get away from it all for St Patrick’s, we still have availability for short breaks around those dates,  check out our accommodation page for availability and booking page for pricing, and contact us on 00353719173339, or send an email to milkharbour@outlook.com .

We look forward to welcoming you to our home.
